Making it to Austin was a big day for Gavin and I. It marked the end of being without Star. We arrived to our hotel and met up with my parents. The G'rents were very excited to see Gavin. The next day we hooked up with our friend Blair who lives in Austin. She took us swimming and climbing at the Greenbelt. After a fantastic day climbing and dinner we made it back to the hotel with only being in one car accident. Everyone is OK, but a bit shaken up.

On Saturday we picked up Star from the airport in the still drivable rental. It was absolutely a long awaited reunion. Man on man it is nice to have her back. On Sunday we made it to Reimer's Ranch. We climbed several fun lines and this area is by far the best climbing area around Austin.

On Sunday night after a tasty dinner Star, Gavin, and I drove down to San Antonio where Star has some training this week. I am planning on checking out a few climbing areas around here, but we will see. Gavin and I are heading to the Alamo tomorrow then I think we might head towards the boarder to check that out. Also on the agenda is to head towards the Pecos river/Lake Amistad area to see the large limestone cliffs. I should have some very nice shots in a few days. Here are some from the last week.
