So yesterday my wife Star graduated from the residency program at Children's Hospital in NOLA. A very big day for our family. After we ate lunch at Deanie's restaurant in Metairie. Which has great fried and boiled seafood. Later that night we a had a small gathering of friends to continue to celebrate this special occasion.

Today we decided to go to the Audubon Zoo. What a great idea. Star finally was able to see that the animals are not a myth, urban legend, or animatronics. She seemed to believe that the animals were not real and that they were in fact a trick to make people come in and pay money for nothing.

Well, she was able to see real elephants, monkeys, giraffes, rhinos, flamingos, lions, tigers, and much more!!! Here are some cool photos from the last wonderful couple of days. I was even able to squeeze in two days of climbing too.
