Well in the last couple of weeks I have been very busy. Between training and climbing projects Jack and I have been bolting new routes and sending projects. We have a new trad line that is crazy good. A 110d that takes very small gear. Super spicy. Jack made the FA of a 11c/d line that is long moves on shallow pockets on bad feet up vertical rock. Jensen took some killer shots of a few of the sends and I will post some soon. The weather here is very intermittent. Blue skies move to ominous in no time. So I have been spending just as much time in the gym training as I have outside bouldering. On the bouldering front I have been working a couple of v6's and a cool v5/6. Sends are sure to come soon. Especially now that the weather has turned crisp.

On Tuesday Jack and I are going to the Red Yellow area to bolt another line and for me to send Dixie King 12b. I red pointed on TR and felt very good, so it will go down pending weather. And Baby. On that note still no baby. He is 39 plus two. Any day now.

Jensen and I found a cool bar in Roppongi named Belguabe. It is a Bulgarian beer bar. Great stuff. The owner was there and gave us free food and drinks. It was a very fun time. He even carries one of the most popular I.P.A.'s in the world, and it is good. I had two.

Well here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks with many more to come. Enjoy.

And Go Climb Something!!!

  1. Hi Eddie,
The only thing I'm climbing these days is the staircase, but your direction is inspiring! Rob (Dr. from urgent care) and I (his side kick) saw a very pregnant Star yesterday. You guys are so close. It looks like you are experiencing a very different Japan than we are. We go to the Seiyu and that's our Japanese cultural experience for the week...or two. Sadly, I think we're really just going to a fancy Walmart!

  2. Cool pictures, thanks for sharing. I stumbled onto your blog, hope you don't mind me posting.
